US Army announces counter-UAS industry days on 7-8 May at Fort Belvoir

The US Army’s C5ISR Center Research and Technology Integration (RTI) Directorate announced on 1 February a forthcoming Industry Day for counter-UAS technologies. The event will be held at Fort Belvoir, VA, on 7-8 May and responses are required no later than 4pm EST on 29 February 2024.

RTI is requesting information related to capabilities that can help protect soldiers, vehicles and infrastructure from emerging and future UAS threats.  Information is sought for novel sensor and non-kinetic defeat technologies (components, sub-systems and systems) that are Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 3-7 that may potentially significantly reduce size/weight/power/cost or improve performance of existing Army systems.  Responses to this request may include current research, development, prototyping of novel components, and technology for C-UAS mechanisms including capabilities to detect, locate, track, identify, target, and/or defeat UAS threats.
