Astra UTM seeks UI/UX designer to join unmanned traffic management team

Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) company Astra UTM invites applicants for the role of creative designer for the company’s operating platform.

The position includes the following activity:

  • Contribute to a wide variety of designs in Figma- including interactive wireframes, pixel-perfect UI specifications, graceful user-flows, and carefully architected sitemaps
    · Collaborate daily with peers across disciplines including engineering, product, and data science
    · Interpret complex ideas and transform them into delightful and intuitive interfaces
    · Empathize with a diverse range of user personas across conflicting use-cases and technical proficiencies
    · Maintain a comprehensive design library of reusable components in collaboration with front-end engineers
    · Enhance the usability of product experiences across the platform with consideration of qualitative and quantitative data
    · Work with a design manager to articulate, prioritize, and execute UI/UX projects
    · Give and solicit actionable feedback in service of building the best products
    What We’re Looking For
    · 3+ years of experience as a UI and UX designer, working on enterprise products
    · Highly skilled in carrying product features; from brainstorming to UX wireframes to high-fidelity UI mock-ups
    · 1+ year using Figma with contributions to a design system featuring reusable components and clickable prototypes
    · Coherent portfolio of software design projects, with enterprise projects preferred
    · Demonstrated ability to evolve design elements to meet new product requirements, highly responsive to the iterative product development cycle
    · Experience working with the front-end engineering team and sensitivity to implementation constraints
    · UX writing experience
