RTCA proposes minimum operating standards in two areas: detect and avoid, terrestrial datalink.

US standards agency RTCA Standing Committee (SC) 228 has concluded its Final Review and Comment relating to the development of Minimum Operating Procedures and Standards (MOPS) in two areas for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). Both represent key elements for the integration of UAS into the national airspace and follow several years’ industry input. The findings now go before the Program Management Committee for review:
