EASA updates airspace Easy Access Rules defining requirements for manned aviation operating in U-space

The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has published Easy Access Rules (EAR) for Standardised European Rules of the Air (SERA). The revision incorporates the requirements for manned aviation operating in U-space airspace, introduced to SERA by Regulation (EU) 2021/666 under Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 923/2012.

EAR for SERA are displayed in a consolidated, easy-to-read format with advanced navigation features through links and bookmarks. They are also available as online dynamic publications with filters, search functions, and easy navigation for computers, tablets, and mobiles, says EASA.

The document is available for free download from the EASA website in pdf format and as online dynamic publication, and will be updated regularly to incorporate further changes and evolutions to its content.
