Quantum Systems has been selected by Japan’s Acquisition, Technology & Logistics Agency (ATLA) to participate in Japan’s Counter-UAS proof-of-concept programme.
The initiative forms part of ATLA’s Early Acquisition Programme, which aims to accelerate the evaluation and deployment of next-generation interceptor drone capabilities for the Japan Self-Defense Forces. Terra Drone has also announced its selection in the programme.
In addition, Quantum Systems has been selected by the European Commission as a founding member of the newly established EU-Ukraine Drone Alliance, in support of the Drone Deal. Agreed during the 3rd EU-UA Defence Industry Forum in Kyiv, the Alliance aims to accelerate the development of a strong European ecosystem for drone and counter-drone technologies.
As a founding member of the alliance, Quantum Systems said it will “help translate operational lessons from Ukraine into scalable industrial capabilities and next-generation European defence technologies, strengthening Europe’s ability to respond to rapidly evolving security challenges”.
