Lithuanian military orders hundreds of C-UAS units

The Lithuanian Ministry of National Defence’s Defence Resources Agency has ordered counter drone systems from Kaunas-based NT Service UAB to meet an urgent requirement.

The tender notice states that the contract is valued at EUR 8.03 million and will span 36 months.

NT Service is contracted to provide 351 C-UAS units and 130 individual suppressors.

In September, Unmanned Airspace reported that high volumes of Lithuanian-manufactured C-UAS systems had been supplied to Ukraine, and that deliveries would continue. As of the end of 2023, the Ukrainian military was thought to be operating thousands of C-UAS systems manufactured by NT Service UAB.

The company produces fixed omnidirectional drone ‘domes’ as well as mobile and man-portable systems.
