Dutch police to deploy drone detection and mitigation equipment at Zandvoort F1 Grand Prix

The Dutch police has selected drone detection and mitigation equipment from a group of companies to contribute to the security and safety of the Zandvoort F1 Grand Prix. European companies Robin Radar, Rohde & Schwarz and ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik GmbH have been selected to provide a counter-UAS solution to monitor the airspace above and near the race track for drone incursions.

Robin will supply drone radars ELVIRA and IRIS to detect intrusive drones, regardless of whether they fly remotely controlled, autonomously or pre-programmed.
