IsraelDefence reports that Israeli company SMARTSHOOTER – a designer, developer, and manufacturer of fire control systems – displayed a range of rifle-mounted and remotely controlled C-UAS solutions at DSEI Japan 2023; its SMASH Fire Control Systems are operationally deployed by forces in East Asia, said the news source.
- SMASH 3000: A rifle-mounted lightweight fire control system with an additional advanced Counter-UAS mode that provides accurate Hard Kill capability against drones or any static or moving ground targets.
- SMASH X4: a Fire Control System with an x4 magnifying optic scope that provides extended detection, recognition & identification ranges for the shooter as well as extended lethality ranges.
- SMASH Hopper: A Light Remotely Controlled Weapon Station (LRCWS) that can be mounted on different manned and unmanned platforms to provide the force a pin-point accurate lethal capability from a safe stand-off distance.
