AirSight, manufacturer of AirGuard drone detection software, has announced a strategic partnership with Strategic Communications, a certified Woman- and Minority-Owned Small Business (WOSB & MBE) and a specialist in public-sector technology procurement.
This will make Airsight’s AirGuard platform available to public agencies through compliant procurement channels built for the public-safety community, according to AirSight.
“Federal counter-drone funding is arriving fast — FEMA has already awarded the first $250M of its Counter-UAS Grant Program, with a second round of $250M+ expected to open to all 56 states and territories,” said AirGuard. “But that money carries strict federal procurement rules, and a purchase made the wrong way can put the funding itself at risk. Agencies meet those requirements by buying through compliant cooperative vehicles — which is exactly the path this partnership opens for AirGuard.”
AirSight detects the threat. AirGuard surfaces drones — and their operators’ location — the moment they enter protected airspace. Strategic Communications puts AirGuard on a compliant, public-safety path. Strategic Communications’ JPS TRUST program is designed for the law enforcement, corrections, and emergency-management agencies eligible for C-UAS grants, allowing them to acquire AirGuard through NASPO ValuePoint, which already satisfies the federal procurement standards FEMA grants require.
