Manna Air Delivery is expanding its US drone delivery network with three additional operational bases in Tulsa, Oklahoma, following the launch of its first US site just weeks earlier.
Each new base will be capable of handling up to 24 deliveries per hour. Customers in the initial service areas will be able to order restaurant meals, groceries and other everyday essentials through Manna’s app, with eligible orders delivered to designated locations at customers’ homes.
The expansion forms part of Manna’s plans to establish a wider network of high-capacity drone delivery bases across several US states, including Oklahoma and Texas, supported by domestic aircraft manufacturing.
The company said it aims to create more than 1,000 US manufacturing jobs over the next three years. Its first batch of US-manufactured aircraft is already in production.
Manna said it has completed almost 400,000 commercial delivery flights over the past seven years. The company plans to continue expanding into additional US markets as it develops its autonomous delivery network.
