“Clearance now providing drone flight authorisation services at all DSNA airfields and airports in France”

Clearance by Hologarde has reached a key milestone with the finalization of the deployment of its solution on all the airfields where the Directorate of Air Navigation Services (DSNA) provides air traffic control services, according to a Linkedin post and translated by google translate.

“After several months of intensive deployment work carried out in close partnership with the various services, Clearance is now operational on 100% of the fields where the DSNA provides the air traffic control service (metropolitan France and overseas territories),” said the company. Clearance had made more 80,000 flight approvals to date, says the company.

“Since 2017, the Clearance solution has facilitated the insertion of drones into airspace and has made it possible to streamline drone flight agreements and authorizations in many areas for the benefit of operators and remote pilots as well as the various airspace managers,” says Clearance. “In May 2024, Clearance was selected as the winning solution in the DSNA national call for tenders. The challenge was considerable: to deploy the solution in SaaS mode in order to allow agents to manage requests for approval of drone activities in a simple and fast way, on more than 80 national fields. The most sensitive deployment concerned the Paris region, given its dense air traffic and the challenges related to the 2024 Olympic Games. The complex environment of Paris required an adapted configuration as well as perfect communication between our teams and those of the DSNA.

“Today, more than a hundred trained agents use the Clearance solution on a daily basis to manage requests for drone flights. With just a few clicks, they analyse and process a flight agreement request and exchange, if necessary, directly with the remote pilot via the integrated chat.”
