In a Linkedin post AIRmarket Inc reports that in partnership with OneSky it has successfully completed an interoperability demonstration validating compliance with ASTM F3548, a key international standard for RPAS Traffic Management (RTM) interoperability.
“The demonstration connected Strathcona County’s Drone as a First Responder (DFR) operations from Sherwood Park with planned operations in downtown Edmonton. Flight volumes were automatically exchanged and strategically deconflicted through DSS services, demonstrating how independent RTM providers can seamlessly coordinate shared airspace in real time.
“This represents far more than a technical milestone.
“By successfully demonstrating automated operational intent sharing under ASTM F3548, AIRmarket and OneSky have showcased the collaborative, standards-based approach required to enable safe, scalable BVLOS, Drone as a First Responder, and future Advanced Air Mobility operations across Canada—helping build the digital infrastructure for the next generation of Canadian airspace.”
