HighLander launches 3D version of Vega UTM for complex, urban airspace flight planning

HighLander reports that its Vega UTM airspace planning and management tool now comes in three dimensions, “providing immersive visualization for better understanding of complex airspaces,” said the company in a Linkedin post.

“This is a significant step forward for safe mission planning and effective regulatory oversight and compliance. In complex airspaces such as urban environments there are endless variables that can affect flight safety. Pilots need to be aware of factors such as buildings, geographical features, restricted airspaces and potentially conflicting flights when planning a mission and in real time, while the authorities must have full and accurate awareness of absolutely everything.”
