France invites innovators to develop U-space management and other mobility solutions

The French transport ministry has issued three calls for projects relating to sustainable transport, with a fourth concerning U-space due to be released in early September.

The calls issued by the Agence de l’Innovation pour les Transports aim to support innovations of all types in order to accelerate all forms of mobility, and are designed to encourage participation by a wide range of actors.

  • The “Sustainable Transport” call aims to integrate external projects into the administration so that innovative private initiatives can benefit from the support of the AIT. Closing date: 15 October 2021
  • The purpose of the “Data Communities” call is to bring together entities offering solutions within the mobility ecosystem. Closing date: 15 October 2021
  • The “Intrapreneurship” call is designed to provide support to the public official and his belonging service to improve the public service relating to the transport sector. Closing date: 15 October 2021
  • The call “Development of spaces for multiple use” is part of a process of better management of air traffic of drones at very low altitude in Europe and a safe and efficient sharing of airspace. Due to be released.
