Dufour Aerospace announced on May 6 that it will demonstrate long-range delivery of critical medical goods with the AeroMini platform, in collaboration with Västervik Drone Science Park and Savback Helicopters.
Dufour was invited to contribute to a combined military-civil exercise in early May in the area of Västervik, where various healthcare actors will practice for care and transportation of large flows of patients. As the organisers are interested in the advantages of drones for medical applications, Dufour Aerospace will showcase a BVLOS flight from the Västervik airport area to a second location with the AeroMini.
The drones combine vertical takeoff and landing with fixed-wing flight, enabling autonomous delivery of essential supplies in remote and difficult environments.
