Eurocae invites wider participation in Working Group 105 to develop UAS minimum operational specifications

Eurocae invites participation in Working Group 105 Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), to focus on developing minimum operational performance specifications (MOPS) for Detect and Avoid (DAA) in Very Low Level (VLL) airspace.

WG 105 specifically seeks input from UAS operators, UAS system suppliers, UAS systems integrators, U-space service providers and U-space services developers.

The standards agency is also inviting members to participate in a call for interest to information concerned stakeholders about activities ready to be proposed by WG 105 to provide possible activity leaders. This activity specifically relates to WG 105 SG-2 on Command, Communication, Spectrum and Security (C3&S) and includes development of MOPS for C2 Link Long Term Evolution (LTE) in collaboration with RTCA SC-228. This aims to achieve international acceptance, maximum harmonisation and common service equipment specifications.
