EASA opens consultation on proposed means of compliance for special condition VTOL

The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has released the second publication of Means of Compliance with the Special Condition VTOL (SC VTOL – MoC 2 issue 2). The object of this consultation is the Third Publication of Proposed Means of Compliance with the Special Condition for VTOL. Comments can be provided using the EASA Comment-Response Tool (CRT), a one-time online registration is necessary.

Neither the Special Condition nor the first or the second publication of Means of Compliance are reopened for consultation. These documents remain available under the Related Content section for reference.

This SC VTOL – MoC 2 issue 2 publication will be done in two stages:

– The first stage published today under “Related Content” as “MOC-2 SC-VTOL Issue 2”contains all MOCs except MOCs 2105, 2115, 2120 and 2130 (performance MoCs).
– The second and final stage, which will incorporate also these missing MOCs, is expected to be released later this year when it will be available on the EASA webpage as “MOC-2 SC-VTOL Issue 3”.

The Comment Response Document (CRD) will be similarly sequenced.
