EASA invites comments on proposed means of compliance for Light-UAS.2510

The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has opened the external consultation for the proposed Means of Compliance for Light-UAS.2510 “Equipment, Systems and Installations” for Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS) intended to operate in SAIL IV.

The means of compliance covers the complete Unmanned Aircraft System, which is comprised of the unmanned aircraft and the equipment to control it remotely (command unit).

This is a key element for determining the compliance of UAS architecture for operations over more densely populated areas and higher airspace classes.

Deadline for comments: 31 August 2023
Official comments to the proposed Consultation Paper are to be filed through the EASA Comment Response Tool.
