Ukraine “asks NATO countries for urgent supplies of counter-UAS equipment”

Counter-UAS equipment is at the top of the list of military requirements reportedly sent by Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov to the Belgian counterpart Ludivine Dedonder in a letter of February 23, just hours before the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The list, published in the Belgian edition of Business AM and shared on Linkedin by Tim De Zitter, features requirements for anti-drone guns and jammers along with counter electronics directed energy weapons.

According to the news report the list is generic and has been sent to all NATO countries.
