Roca Defense and Systems has launched a counter-uncrewed aerial system (C-UAS) interceptor.
Designed and developed in Latin America, POMBERO incorporates a seeker and target-engagement architecture integrated with a drone coordination and airspace control software platform, enabling it to acquire, pursue and neutralise UAS threats.
With a projected maximum takeoff weight of 3kg, including a payload capacity of up to 550g, the system recently entered a 30-day testing and validation campaign.
The company aims to achieve a nominal operating speed of approximately 500 km/h with POMBERO.
