Ôguen Tecnologias and R2 Wireless have teamed up to deploy drone detection as a service (DDaS) across São Paulo, Brazil. Public agencies and private organisations can subscribe to the managed service that provides drone detection, geolocation and real time airspace awareness.
Together, the companies will provide a passive radio frequency detection system in a fixed or mobile configuration designed to identify and locate unauthorised drones, Internet of Things devices, jammers and other threats, with 360° coverage.
The service is capable of detecting both drones from known manufacturers as well as home-made drones and can differentiate between authorised and rogue systems.
