DroneShield appoints joint company secretary

DroneShield has appointed Candice Driver as Joint Company Secretary, effective 6 October 2026.

Driver brings more than 15 years of legal and company secretarial experience, regulated financial services businesses and multinational infrastructure platforms. She most recently served at Regal Partners Limited.

Driver will be responsible for communications with the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) under Listing Rule 12.6, replacing Carla Balanco as Joint Company Secretary. Paul Cenoz will remain General Counsel and Joint Company Secretary.

The appointment is part of a wider refresh of DroneShield’s leadership and governance structure. In recent months, the counter-uncrewed aerial system (C-UAS) company has appointed Hamish McLennan as Independent Non-Executive Chairman and welcomed retired Rear Admiral Lee Goddard CSC as an Independent Non-Executive Director. Lynn Saint is also due to join the board on 24 November.

The company is also preparing for Rebecca Lowde to join as Chief Financial Officer on 2 November, while Angus Bean continues as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director.
