Australian counter-drone company DroneShield has appointed Rebecca Lowde as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), while reporting AUD251 million in committed revenue for 2026 and receiving its first order for its recently launched RfRecon device.
Lowde will join DroneShield on 2 November 2026, replacing current CFO and joint company secretary Carla Balanco, who is leaving the company after more than eight years. Lowde has held senior finance and executive roles at technology companies including MYOB and Afterpay.
DroneShield said its committed revenue for 2026 has increased to AUD251 million, within its existing revenue outlook of AUD250 million to AUD270 million. Committed revenue for 2027 and beyond currently stands at AUD46 million.
The company has also accepted its first order for RfRecon, an AI-enabled device that will be deployed by an existing Western European military customer by the end of 2026. DroneShield said the order is not material in value but represents an initial deployment of the newly released system.
RfRecon is part of DroneShield’s counter-uncrewed aerial system (C-UAS) portfolio, which includes sensing, electronic warfare and command-and-control capabilities.
