Thales has announced a further two counter UAS systems at Eurosatory 2026.
RapidStriker is an integrated scalable solution combining advanced 360°detection, automated fire control and drone neutralisation. It provides the forces with a mobile capacity for rapid, accurate and adaptable reaction, essential in the face of contemporary air threats of high intensity. It includes detection, fire control and effectors such as rockets, small calibre cannon and remotely operated ammunition allowing a complementarity of effects.
The RapidStriker system can be integrated on any type of high mobility combat vehicle, including the BushMaster Utility unveiled by Thales on June 15 2026 at Eurosatory.
RapidStriker also integrates easily into an expanded air defence architecture. It is fully interoperable with Thales’s integrated SkyDefender air and missile defence system.
Thales has also launched a next-generation 70mm laser-guided rocket dedicated for counter-drone operations.

The Laser Guided Rocket Proxy (LGR275 Proxy) is equipped with a proximity sensor, specifically designed to accurately and effectively neutralize drones. “This innovation addresses the critical need to balance cost and performance in countering unmanned aerial systems, providing a sustainable, and economically viable solution against current threats,” according to the company. “The LGR275 Proxy rocket further strengthens the capabilities of SkyDefender, Thales multi-layer, multi-domain Integrated Air and Missile Defence dome.
“In active conflict zones, Class 1 and 2 drones have fundamentally changed the nature of warfare, exposing the limitations of traditional air defence systems. The LGR275 Proxy addresses the urgent need to restore cost-effectiveness in counter-drone operations.Built on Thales already proven laser guided rocket to counter-drone, this new solution helps resolve the growing imbalance between interception costs and operational efficiency, a challenge that can rapidly deplete stockpiles, strain defence budgets, and undermine the sustainability of high-intensity drone warfare operations. The LGR275 Proxy is equipped with a proximity sensor and a military-grade warhead optimised for aerial targets.”
