EUROCAE publishes new draft of USSP data exchange document

EUROCAE has published a draft document pertaining to exchanges between U-space Service Providers (USSPs) and between USSPs and authorised users.

Prepared by EUROCAE Working Group 105 SG-3 – Unmanned Aircraft Systems – UAS Traffic Management, the document: ED-339A – NID Data Exchange ICD for indirect exchanges between USSPs and between USSPs and Authorised Users is a revision of ED-339 and addresses errors identified following the publication of the original document. It aims to correct these issues to improve the accuracy and consistency of the Network Identification Data Exchange Interface Control Document (ICD).

The revision also includes a change to the HTTP status code, replacing 403 (Forbidden) with 409 (Conflict) to more accurately reflect situations where a volume is contained within another volume.

EUROCAE says ED-339A supports clearer and more consistent implementation of network identification data exchanges.

The proposed document can be viewed at the EUROCAE Workspace which includes a comment form for feedback.
