Sten Nurmsalu, Chief Executive Officer of HexTech and Droneradar reports in the Linkedin post that the company has been selected by the City of Tallinn innovation fund to support the integration between Droneradar and the Estonian Air Navigation Services (EANS) UTM platform.
“The goal is to test how detected drone activity can be compared with registered flight plans and permissions in one operational view,” said the post. “Today, planned drone flights and real-world drone activity often sit in separate systems. This project is the first step toward bringing those layers together, helping authorities better distinguish coordinated drone operations from unexpected or potentially non-compliant activity.
“For Tallinn, this means better low-altitude airspace visibility, fewer false alarms, and a more practical foundation for managing drone activity around dense urban areas, the airport influence area, the port, critical infrastructure, and major public events.”
