Ondas subsidiary Cyberhawk has secured a new three-year agreement, with an option to extend for a further two years, with SSE plc’s SSEN Transmission and SSEN Distribution for the provision of specialist drone inspection and surveying services across its UK electricity networks.
The service will cover thousands of kilometres of critical electricity infrastructure across the UK. Cyberhawk has already supported SSE with drone technology for more than ten years. As part of the new agreement, the company will also provide offshore wind turbine inspection.
Cyberhawk holds active beyond visual line of sight permissions in both the UK and US.
