The Oregon UAS Accelerator has announced the 17 companies joining its Fall 2026 Cohort, kicking off a 12-week hybrid programme built to move uncrewed aerial, ground and maritime systems companies from prototype to pilots, partnerships and capital. The latest group of companies include those offering counter-UAS lasers to those developing cardiac arrest response drones.
Those of particular interest to Unmanned Airspace readers include:
- PerimeterAI Group — Maker of a passive acoustic sensor node designed to detect and classify small drone threats at the tactical edge without relying on the cloud.
- Atlas AI — Building a supplemental computer-vision traffic awareness system to help general aviation pilots see and avoid nearby aircraft without relying on other pilots’ equipment.
- Tactical Laser Defense Systems Inc. — Designs handheld directed-energy systems for defeating drones using patent-pending rastered laser technology.
- Vexil Systems — Building UAS-deployed radio repeaters designed to restore communications for search-and-rescue, wildland fire, and disaster response teams operating where radios fail.
- NuCode — Manufacturer of ultra-low-power BLE 6.0 and Wi-Fi modules with on-module Edge AI, delivering positioning for drones operating in GPS-denied environments.
- AdvisorLauren — Developing air-gapped AI and autonomy software for GPS-denied navigation, mission planning and digital-twin simulation in defence and industrial settings.
- Empyrean Defense Inc. — Builder of a multi-domain sensor fusion and command-and-control platform that gives operators one shared operational picture across air, ground and maritime domains.
- SUPPORTY — Developing cellular-based remote control modules that enable one-to-many operation of drones and uncrewed ground vehicles.
- TKG Security — Creator of a sensor-fusion command-and-control platform with AI video analytics that integrates third-party radar, RF/DF and EO/IR sensors into one operational system.
- Needltail — Building an autonomous drone system capable of over 100 mph to deliver AEDs and other life-saving equipment in Drone-as-First-Responder missions for cardiac arrest and other emergencies.
- HindSight VIP Inc. — Developer of a platform designed to simplify blockchain and operational data to support verification, traceability and compliance across the UAS supply chain.
The Fall 2026 Cohort runs as a 12-week hybrid programme from August through November 2026, designed to help these early-stage companies accelerate commercialisation, strengthen their investor and grant readiness, and make use of Oregon’s UAS ecosystem.

The 2026 Unmanned Airspace Global Counter-UAS Systems Directory is now available. The guide is the world’s only comprehensive, continually updated directory of global C-UAS companies and systems. It itemises over 1,000 C-UAS products and services with performance details, company sales and partnerships arrangements. It is updated every month and broken down into niche sub-sectors (net-capture, missiles, intercept drones, detectors etc) to give C-UAS procurement and industry personnel a unique perspective of global C-UAS technical capabilities and market positions. It is available in word, PDF and excel formats and Unmanned Airspace readers are eligible for a range of discounts.
