DSNA issues RFI for U-Space partnership market information

France’s Directorate of Air Navigation Services (DSNA) has issued a request for information (RFI) on the opportunity and conditions of setting up partnerships for the implementation of U-space services.

According to the RFI:

“The DSNA seeks to better understand the market, operational and technical drivers that prevail over the management of drone traffic, and their evolution over the next 10 years. This RFI aims at collecting information about the positioning of U-Space service providers to drone operators operating in France, as well as the positioning of operators using drones to deliver services to their customers in the value chain. DSNA seeks to assess the value and feasibility of establishing one or more of the following types of design, testing and operation of U-Space services and geographical areas of the French airspace (referred to as U-Subspaces) of SWIM services. As a whole, this approach should lead to an operational and systematic implementation of U-Space services in France. The RFI is primarily intended for the use of service providers, providers of related software solutions, drone-based service operators, communication and navigation.”
