Vantis partners with Airspace Link to launch Vantis UAS FlySafe app for drone pilots in North Dakota

Vantis has partnered with Airspace Link, an FAA approved Service Supplier of the Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability (LAANC) to provide drone pilots with access to Airspace Link’s AirHub Launch platform. Pilots can access sophisticated preflight risk assessment and situational awareness tools, as well as request near real time airspace authorizations to fly in local controlled airspace (under 400 feet).

AirHub Launch powers the Vantis UAS FlySafe application through which AirHub pilots can receive an authorization in just seconds, making it easier to operate drones safely and legally in North Dakota.

LAANC is a partnership between the FAA and private industry to safely integrate small drones into the national airspace and automates the application and approval process for airspace authorizations. All drone pilots require an FAA airspace authorization before an operation can take place in controlled airspace.
