Registration is open for November’s EU Drone Summit. The event will bring together representatives from EU institutions, Member States and industry to take stock of progress under the EU Drone Strategy 2.0 and help shape the next steps for the European drone market.
The event is organised by the European Commission, with support from the Ministry of Transport of Belgium and the SESAR Joint Undertaking. More than 300 participants are expected.
The summit will open on 9 November with a half-day of technical sessions and industry-focused workshops examining the practical, regulatory and operational challenges that must be addressed to enable drone operations to scale safely across Europe. The second day will focus on high-level policy and strategic discussions on the future direction of the EU’s drone policy, industrial competitiveness, security and technological capabilities. It will consider how Europe can move from a strong regulatory and policy framework towards faster implementation, market development and deployment.
