GUTMA establishes working group to support harmonised standards, invites members’ input

The Global Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) Association (GUTMA) has established a Standards Working Group for its members. The new working group is to liaise with Standards Development Organizations (SDOs) and promote standards harmonization for a successful UAS integration into the current civil airspace.

The decision is part of a broader and far-reaching effort by GUTMA to make the setting of common and advanced standards a primary focus of the industry. The first step in this direction is represented by the Standards Report that GUTMA recently published, accessible by our members through the Members Area.

GUTMA members are invited to provide inputs and recommendations to SDOs such as EUROCAE, ASTM & ISO, you can join the Working Group by registering to this form. You have time to express your interest until December 2.
