VisionWave Holdings, Inc. has announced a strategic investment in Foresight Autonomous Holdings Ltd., whereby VisionWave would acquire up to 51 percent of Foresight. The deal also sees VisionWave add Foresight’s stereo vision and thermal imaging perception platform to its existing RF sensing systems.
Combined with VisionWave’s acquisition of xClibre™ AI video intelligence IP portfolio from Dream America Marketing Services earlier this month, the deal enables VisionWave to build a heterogeneous three-layer sensing stack inside a single platform. This platform would feature an RF detection layer, a computer vision layer and an AI video intelligence layer.
The intended integration target is VisionWave’s Argus™ counter-drone platform, where RF-detected aerial threats would be visually confirmed by computer vision and contextualised by AI video analytics before engagement authorisation.
