Ukrainian-Estonian team to create mobile robotic drone defence systems

Frontline Robotics of Ukraine and Milrem Robotics of Estonia signed a Memorandum of Understanding at Eurosatory 2026 last week, creating a framework for deeper collaboration on counter-drone platforms, robotic systems and remote weapon stations.

The two companies will create mobile robotic systems equipped with electronic warfare and reconnaissance capabilities.

The new agreement builds on the successful integration of Frontline’s combat-proven Buria Remote Weapon Station with Milrem’s THeMIS uncrewed ground vehicle defence platform. Frontline expects the expanding cooperation to bring Ukrainian battlefield-tested technologies to international markets, including the Middle East.
