An interactive model of Russia’s RB-504A-E counter-drone system, developed by the Special Technology Center (STC), has been presented at the Defense Services Asia (DSA) international arms and military equipment exhibition in Malaysia, according Russia’s TASS news agency.
“The system consists of a ground-based mobile radio monitoring and electronic countermeasure station, a drone radio monitoring and electronic countermeasure system, a ground-based mobile command post, and the Orlan-10 and Orlan-30 unmanned aerial vehicles,” said the report.
“The system detects, identifies, and interferes with the control channels and navigation systems of drones. The DSA exhibition is taking place in Kuala Lumpur from April 20-23. STC products are being showcased as part of the joint Russian exhibit of the arms exporter Rosoboronexport (part of the state tech corporation Rostec).”
According to Rosoboronexport frequency ranges for radio monitoring and radio-electronic influence on UAV communication channels comprise: UHF–225…510 MHz; S–2.2…2.5 GHz; C-4.4…5.85 GHz; Ku-14.4…15.4 GHz and radio suppression of UAV satellite navigation channels GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BEIDOU
