The United States Department of Defense (DoD) has announced a USD480,000,000 firm-fixed price contract award for Palantir USG Inc for the Maven Smart System prototype. DoD says one bid was solicited via the internet with one received.
The Maven Smart System uses AI generated algorithms and memory learning capabilities to scan and identify enemy systems.
Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of May 28, 2029.
The US Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
