Ondas Holdings today unveiled two AI-driven defence systems: MODUS, a mobile counter-UAS platform, and IRON WAVE, a robotic combat suite designed to operate ahead of frontline forces.
MODUS (Modular Under-Layer System) addresses the growing complexity of low-altitude threats, including fiber-optic guided drones immune to jamming and high-density swarm attacks, says the company. The system integrates CoRF cyber detection, GNSS disruption, radar, AI-driven EO sensing, autonomous interceptors, and layered effectors into a single autonomous sensor-to-shooter platform, enabling man-above-the-loop control. Through real-time sensor fusion, MODUS continuously evaluates the threat environment and orchestrates the optimal response.
Designed for mobility and rapid deployment, MODUS moves with maneuver forces, maintaining continuous protection in GNSS-denied, spectrum-constrained, and contested environments.
IRON WAVE is a deployable robotic combat suite designed designed to place robotic systems ahead of ground forces during high-risk operational missions. Built on the “Bots Before Boots” concept, the system enables robotic platforms to detect, classify, and neutralize threats before exposing human forces. The suite includes a rapidly deployable command unit, robotic combat vehicles, autonomous mission-control infrastructure, and multi-platform operator stations.

The 2026 Unmanned Airspace Global Counter-UAS Systems Directory is now available. The Guide is the world’s only comprehensive, continually updated directory of global C-UAS companies and systems. It itemises over 1,000 C-UAS products and services with performance details, company sales and partnerships arrangements. It is updated every month and broken down into niche sub-sectors (net-capture, missiles, intercept drones, detectors etc) to give C-UAS procurement and industry personnel a unique perspective of global C-UAS technical capabilities and market positions. It is available in word, PDF and excel formats and Unmanned Airspace readers are eligible for a range of discounts. For more information about the Directory please contact the editor Philip Butterworth-Hayes at philip@unmannedairspace.info.
