MSI Defense and OVES Enterprise partner to develop AI-driven C-UAS

OVES Enterprise, a Romanian developer of software for the defence, aerospace, and cybersecurity industries, has signed an agreement with MSI Defense Solutions, a US-based integrator of tactical systems for land and naval defence. The strategic partnership aims to integrate the capabilities of OVES Enterprise’s Nemesis AI platform into MSI’s next-generation defence systems, including EAGLS anti-drone and anti- missile applications.

EAGLS is designed to operate independently or as part of a larger defence network. The integration of Nemesis AI turns the platform into a fully autonomous counter-threat system. Nemesis AI processes large volumes of data in real time, recognising, classifying, and anticipating complex threats to support tactical decisions at speed.

MSI says the partnership will lead to the development of a fully AI-driven system capable of intercepting threats using visual sensors alone, with no reliance on radar or GPS. OVES Enterprise will implement an advanced sensor fusion solution combining RGB, thermal, and neuromorphic cameras to detect and recognise incoming threats in real time. Once identified, Nemesis AI will classify the threat, notify the Battle Management System (BMS), and generate recommendations on the optimal interception method based on the available arsenal. The platform will also enable intelligent turret movement control.

The system will be powered by dedicated AI hardware developed specifically for this partnership. The project also holds potential for integration into Romania’s national defense systems.
