Numerous media sources in the Middle East are reporting that Kuwait has been hit by a series of drone attacks. Kuwait’s Armed Forces said it is responding to the drone threats.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a statement claiming to have hit US military targets in Kuwait with drones, including an early-warning radar system. Iran’s IRNA news agency quoted the IRGC as saying the attacks also “struck an equipment and aircraft parts warehouse and an MQ-9 drone hangar at Ali Al Salem Air Base, setting several drones on fire”.
Other reports say sirens are warning of air strikes in Bahrain and that the US has hit a nuclear site in Iran.
These claims and reports have not been independently verified.
