Kalashnikov has demonstrated a layered counter-uncrewed aerial system (C-UAS) product that combines radar, the Krona anti-aircraft missile system and the Kalitka-KA automated turret, connected by an AI-based decision support system.
The 2 November test was conducted in dense fog, which restricted some of the component’s capabilities, according to Russian defence media Military Affairs.
The article states that Kalashnikov claims that Kalitka-KA systems alone had destroyed more than 200 fixed-wing and multirotor drones over three months in one operational sector.
“For longer-range interceptions, the company has developed Zveroboy, a system combining radar detection, optical targeting equipment and a ground control station. It carries three launch containers, each holding three Kraken drones, giving the launcher a total capacity of nine interceptors,” Military Affairs reports.
Meanwhile, national news agency TASS said the AI support system Uzor can simulate drone attacks to assess how effectively a facility is protected.

The Fall issue of the 2026 Unmanned Airspace Global Counter-UAS Systems Directory is now available. The guide is the world’s only comprehensive, continually updated directory of global C-UAS companies and systems. It itemises over 1,000 C-UAS products and services with performance details, company sales and partnerships arrangements. It is updated every month and broken down into niche sub-sectors (net-capture, missiles, intercept drones, detectors etc) to give C-UAS procurement and industry personnel a unique perspective of global C-UAS technical capabilities and market positions. It is available in word, PDF and excel formats and Unmanned Airspace readers are eligible for a range of discounts.
