The United States’ Joint Interagency Task Force 401 (JIATF-401) has awarded OWT Global the joint counter-small uncrewed aerial system (C-sUAS) Mobile Training Team (MTT) services contract with an estimated ceiling of USD 38.2 million to support C-sUAS training requirements across the defence department.
This contract will provide MTTs, develop curriculum, deliver instruction and assist in synchronising training of the Joint Services.
Col. Jonathan Beha, Division Chief for the Data, Analysis, Requirements and Training Branch of JIATF-401, said the right technology is crucial but only half of the requirement. “Warfighters must receive the training necessary to employ these systems safely and effectively. Working with industry partners helps ensure our warfighters are properly trained to employ C-UAS when and where needed.”
