Media outlets in Bangladesh report that the government is planning to install counter-drone systems at the country’s airports.
Bangladesh is expecting an International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) security audit and says the equipment would be needed to address any compliance gaps as well as provide additional security for aviation and infrastructure.
According to the reports, the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh will purchase technologies capable of detecting, tracking and neutralising unauthorised drone flights.
