“A comprehensive anti-drone system of Polish production is already #SKYctrl in the equipment of the Polish Army,” wrote Mariusz Błaszczak, Deputy Prime Minister and the Head of the Polish Government’s National Security and Defence Affairs Committee in a twitter message. “It is adapted to operate with a multi-layered air defense system. These devices will complement the protection of Polish airspace.”
SKYctrl is manufactured by Advanced Protection Systems. According to the company, the system’s “instrumented” range is between 7–50 km, with a maximum detection range of between 2-10km. The system is available in stationary, portable and mobile versions.
