Elbit Systems expands naval counter-UAS suite with radar, electronic warfare and 30mm ammunition

Elbit Systems is expanding its naval protection portfolio with an integrated counter-uncrewed aircraft system (C-UAS) capability combining radar, electro-optical sensors, electronic warfare and kinetic effectors.

The company’s C-UAS configuration uses its DAiR radar and electro-optical sensors to detect and track aerial threats, alongside electronic warfare and GNSS jamming and spoofing technologies to disrupt them.

The suite also incorporates kinetic defence through Elbit’s 30mm naval surface gun and SkyBurst 30mm ammunition, which uses a C-UAS proximity fuse.

These capabilities form part of a wider modular naval protection portfolio that also includes electronic warfare systems, countermeasure dispensers and underwater sensing technologies. Elbit said customers can deploy individual systems or combine them into an integrated protection architecture according to operational requirements.

The company is showcasing its maritime defence portfolio at Euronaval 2026 in Paris.
