ParaZero Technologies has received a fourth order for its DefendAir Net Pods from a Tier-1 European defence company, following initial integration work and a live demonstration on the customer’s armoured vehicle.
DefendAir uses a modular Net Pod architecture designed for vehicle-mounted, autonomous, remotely operated and fixed counter-UAS systems. Its net-based interception technology provides a non-explosive physical mitigation layer for integration into wider protection systems.
The demonstration took place at the customer’s European test facility and involved the sequential interception of multiple drone threats using DefendAir installed on the vehicle. ParaZero said the scenarios were designed to reflect operational conditions.
The new order will support further integration work and planned demonstrations for European end users. The collaboration follows a September 2026 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop a vehicle-integrated active protection capability against attack drones.
ParaZero expects integration to be completed by the end of 2026, following further trials at the customer’s facility. The company also expects to demonstrate the system to senior military officers from NATO member states during this period.

The Fall issue of the 2026 Unmanned Airspace Global Counter-UAS Systems Directory is now available. The guide is the world’s only comprehensive, continually updated directory of global C-UAS companies and systems. It itemises over 1,000 C-UAS products and services with performance details, company sales and partnerships arrangements. It is updated every month and broken down into niche sub-sectors (net-capture, missiles, intercept drones, detectors etc) to give C-UAS procurement and industry personnel a unique perspective of global C-UAS technical capabilities and market positions. It is available in word, PDF and excel formats and Unmanned Airspace readers are eligible for a range of discounts.
