Chess Dynamics introduces equipment support framework

Chess Dynamics, part of the Cohort Group, has launched a support framework designed to help defence customers anticipate support requirements before they impact system availability.

ChessPlus aims to help customers plan for spares, repairs, obsolescence and evolving technical requirements before they become an operational constraint. ChessPlus will provide support for the Chess Dynamics range, including its counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS) equipment.

The company said in a 3 November press release that the new framework “moves the emphasis from traditional after-sales support towards continuing support throughout the system lifecycle”.

Through in-service monitoring, support planning and ongoing obsolescence management, Chess Dynamics will also be able to help identify potential risks to availability earlier and plan appropriate interventions.

ChessPlus supports both new systems entering service and Chess Dynamics equipment already in the field. The framework is modular and scalable, enabling support to be tailored to the customer, system and operational requirement.
