ParaZero introduces C-UAS interceptor to DefendAir range

ParaZero Technologies has launched TillOnAIR, an in-house developed autonomous counter-uncrewed aerial system (C-UAS) capability as part of its DefendAir product family.

TillOnAIR combines a patented detection-and-guidance technology, a ground-based mission control unit, a reusable quadcopter interceptor and a DefendAir Net Pod. The system is designed to operate autonomously throughout the engagement cycle, from detecting an approaching threat through interceptor launch, guidance, net deployment and return, without human intervention.

The system’s architecture enables separation of ground-based targeting and guidance from the airborne interceptor. The ground system detects and tracks the threat and guides the interceptor directly from the ground, which ParaZero says requires no onboard GPS, homing seeker, camera or beacon receiver.

Designed for operation in environments affected by electronic interference, TillOnAIR combines resilience to jamming and spoofing with physical interception that does not depend on disrupting the hostile drone’s communications or navigation. According to the company’s 26 October press release, the net-based defeat mechanism is designed to address fibre-optic-guided, pre-programmed and autonomous drones without relying on an RF link to the threat.

The interceptor is designed to engage the hostile drone from above using the DefendAir net and then return intact for reuse. ParaZero says it requires a new Net Pod per engagement but no other components.

TillOnAIR features a configurable architecture providing a 50–100-metre protection ‘bubble’ around the defended asset. Set-up is approximately 20 minutes and one ground system is capable of coordinating multiple interceptors.

The new system is designed for military and civil use where non-explosive interception is an operational consideration. During November 2026, ParaZero plans to conduct a series of demonstrations in Israel for government, military, defence, security and other relevant organisations. The company plans to then conduct a series of demonstrations worldwide.

The September issue of the 2026 Unmanned Airspace Global Counter-UAS Systems Directory is now available. The guide is the world’s only comprehensive, continually updated directory of global C-UAS companies and systems. It itemises over 1,000 C-UAS products and services with performance details, company sales and partnerships arrangements. It is updated every month and broken down into niche sub-sectors (net-capture, missiles, intercept drones, detectors etc) to give C-UAS procurement and industry personnel a unique perspective of global C-UAS technical capabilities and market positions. It is available in word, PDF and excel formats and Unmanned Airspace readers are eligible for a range of discounts. For more information about the Directory please contact the editor Philip Butterworth-Hayes at philip@unmannedairspace.info.
