North Vector Dynamics (NVD) has closed a Series A round exceeding USD 20 million that values the company at more than USD 90 million USD.
NVD’s initial commercial product is CM-70, a counter-uncrewed aerial system (C-UAS) interceptor. Designed to be low-cost, the CM-70 neutralises threats from highly manoeuvrable UAS, such as those currently targeting Ukraine and the Gulf.
NVD recently signed an agreement with European firm CSG that will see the two companies work to integrate the CM-70 C-UAS interceptor into CSG systems.
The company says that the Series A funding will enable it to build out manufacturing and assembly, increase vertical integration, secure its supply chain, open new offices in the United States and Europe and expand the workforce.
The round was led by Tech Horizons, a European venture capital fund focused on defence, security and resilience technologies that invested in NVD’s Seed round, with participation from ONE9, Garage Capital, CSG, Ripple Ventures, Feld Ventures, Conconi Growth Partners and others.
