AERO Vodochody and Thales Belgium advance Skyfox C-UAS development

AERO Vodochody and Thales Belgium have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to further develop the L-39 Skyfox’s counter-uncrewed aircraft system (C-UAS) capabilities.

The L-39 Skyfox is a turbofan-powered military trainer and light combat aircraft. The cooperation will focus on the continued integration and testing of Thales Belgium’s 70 mm rocket system on the Skyfox, as well as joint marketing activities and presentations of the aircraft’s Drone Hunter configuration at selected international events.

The MoU was signed by AERO Vodochody President and CEO Viktor Sotona and Thales Belgium Managing Director Thomas Colinet.
