Draganfly Inc. has announced a USD 5 million strategic investment by Unusual Machines, Inc. and a further USD 5 million from an undisclosed US investment fund.
The company intends to use the net proceeds to accelerate the development of its drone platforms and systems as well as funding general working capital in meeting demand for its products in US and international markets.
The US Federal Aviation Administration recently granted a Section 44807 Special Authority for Certain Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) exemption for Draganfly’s heavy-lift drone platform. On September 11, the company announced it will supply tactical UAS to the Canadian Armed Forces.
The investment is expected to close on or about September 29, 2026, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions, including receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals, including approval of the Canadian Securities Exchange and notification to the Nasdaq Stock Market.
Jett Capital Advisors, LLC and Northland Capital Markets are acting as joint-lead placement agents in the offering.
